Your privacy matters to us. Kinship is built on the principle that your relationship data is deeply personal and should stay that way.

What we collect

We collect only the information you provide directly: your email address, the contacts you add, notes, tags, hangout schedules, and your app preferences. We do not collect analytics, behavioral data, or device fingerprints.

How we use your data

Your data is used solely to power your Kinship experience — displaying your contacts, sending check-in reminders, syncing hangouts to your calendar, and personalizing your settings. That's it.

What we never do

• We never sell your data to anyone
• We never share your data with third parties for advertising
• We never use your data to train AI models
• We never show you ads
• We never track you across the web

Third-party services

If you connect Google Calendar, we access only the calendar events necessary to sync your hangouts. We do not read or store other calendar data. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your settings.

Data security

Your data is stored securely and transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We follow industry best practices for data protection and access control.

Data export and deletion

You can export your data at any time. If you want to delete your account and all associated data, contact us and we will permanently remove everything within 30 days.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify you of any significant changes via email or an in-app notification.
